Creating Impact Through Art: The Autobahn Carwash Mural

Do Something Cool partnered with Autobahn Carwash to launch the “Keep On, Keeping On” initiative focused on resilience and perseverance. This project celebrates individuals who have overcome significant challenges and shares their stories of grit while raising funds for those on their journey to recovery.
Inspired by Nick “The Manimal” Custer’s story, the campaign highlights the life‑saving importance of seatbelt safety and funnels 100% of funds raised to individuals in need. The initiative is anchored by a vibrant mural painted by California artist Chris Heihn that merges impactful messaging with artistic expression.
The overall aims of the project include:
- Promoting seatbelt safety: The mural serves as a constant reminder to buckle up and save lives.
- Supporting local business: By partnering with Autobahn Carwash promotions, the project boosts local business and contributes to the St. Charles community.
- Empowering resilience: Sharing Nick’s story and highlighting the power of grit encourages individuals to “keep on, keepin’ on”.
